Croatia

Over the past 24 hours, Croatia has registered 2,529 new cases of coronavirus infection and 46 deaths, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Friday.

There are 2,227 COVID patients in hospitals 221 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the start of the epidemic, 318,837 people have contracted coronavirus, 6,784 of them have died, while 295,885 have recovered, including 2,431 in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 34,660 people in self-isolation, and the number of active cases in Croatia stands at 16,168.

To date, 1,743,017 people have been tested, 8,783 of whom over the past 24 hours.

As of 22 April, 746,878 doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Croatia, and 593,972 people have been vaccinated, with 438,706 people receiving the first dose and 152,906 receiving both doses. For 2,360 people there is no data on how many doses they have received.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnian health officials reported 214 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, along with 19 virus-related fatalities.
The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 84 new cases after testing 2,495 samples for the new coronavirus.

The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded 22 deaths caused by the virus.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 242 new cases of the disease after testing 742 suspected samples. This entity also reported having 17 fatalities over the last 24 hours.
Brcko District health officials said they recorded 36 new coronavirus cases.

Kosovo

The authorities in Pristina said that 8 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,118 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 3,146 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 356 who tested positive. There are 11,034 active cases. Another 680 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.

Montenegro

The Montenegrin Public Health Institute said that 6 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,457 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 1,324 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 161 who tested positive. There are 2.753 active cases.

North Macedonia

The North Macedonia Health Ministry said that 33 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,628 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 2,841 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 489 who tested positive. There are 17,943 active cases. Another 905 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.
