Croatia

In the past 24 hours 3,117 coronavirus cases and 49 Covid-19 deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national Covid-19 task force said on Wednesday.

The number of active cases is 15,380 and includes 2,201 in hospital care, 230 of whom are on ventilators, while 31,562 people are self-isolating.

To date, 1.7 million people have been tested for the virus, including 10,523 in the past 24 hours.

Through 20 April 708,960, vaccine doses were administered, with 419,252 people receiving the first dose and 143,796 both. For 2,116 people there is no information on whether they received one or both shots.

To date, Croatia has registered 313,523 coronavirus cases and 6,692 deaths, while 291,351 patients have recovered, including 1,687 in the past 24 hours.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina has reported 1,239 new cases of coronavirus infection and 57 coronavirus-related deaths, while 1,185 COVID patients recovered, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
The new results came from 4,350 lab test performed on the samples of those who reported the infection symptoms.

Bosnia has to date recorded a total of 193,115 coronavirus cases.

With 150,458 of those who cured and 8,082 fatalities, the country currently has 34,575 active COVID cases.

Slovenia

Over the last 24 hours, four patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 4,816 tested people, 1,034 people were infected with the coronavirus in Slovenia, the country’s Government said on Wednesday.

It added that 631 were hospitalised, 155 of them on ventilators, while 62 were discharged.

Kosovo

The authorities in Pristina said that 5 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in Kosovo in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,105 since the pandemic broke out.

They said that 3,084 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 506 who tested positive. There are 11,496 active cases. Another 761 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.

Montenegro

The Montenegrin Public Health Institute said that 3 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,444 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 1,157 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 154 who tested positive. There are 2,929 active cases.

North Macedonia

The North Macedonia Health Ministry said that 47 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,556 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 2,865 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 627 who tested positive. There are 18,469 active cases. Another 765 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.
