Croatia

Over the past 24 hours, Croatia has registered 1,802 new cases of coronavirus infection and 16 deaths, the national Covid-19 crisis management team said on Friday.

The number of active cases stands at 9,052. There are 1,107 Covid patients in hospitals, 115 of whom are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when Croatia registered its first case, a total of 264,111 people have been infected, 5,854 of them have died and 249,205 have recovered, including 1,141 in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 27,892 people in self-isolation.

To date, 1,511,40 people have been tested, 8,003 of whom over the past 24 hours.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

A total of 1,869 new coronavirus infections were confirmed and 76 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities reported on Friday.

The new results came from 5,177 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.
In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 1,260 of the 3,789 people tested since Thursday were positive for the virus and 59 patients died due to the disease, said the healthcare authorities.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 1,284 samples were tested and the results for 505 people were positive, while 16 COVID-19 patients died.

Bosnia’s Brcko District also reported 104 new infections and one COVID-19 fatality.

A total of 162,032 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia since the beginning of the pandemic and more than 128,000 have recovered so far.

Bosnia’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 6,22.

Montenegro

The Montenegro Public Health Institute said that four people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,234.

It said that 1,692 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 372 who tested positive. There are 7,926 active cases. Another 592 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19. A total of 89,363 people tested positive since the pandemic broke out.

Kosovo

The health authoities in Pristina said that six people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,819.

A total of 4,138 people were tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 860 who tested positive. There are 13,106 active cases. Another 682 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19. A total of 86,194 people tested positive since the pandemic broke out.

North Macedonia

The North Macedonia Health Ministry said that 33 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 3,607.

It said that 4,277 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 1,422 who tested positive. There are 17,472 active cases. Another 457 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19. A total of 124,910 people tested positive since the pandemic broke out.
