Bosnia reports 55 new coronavirus cases and six COVID deaths

Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 55 new coronavirus cases and six COVID-19 fatalities, thhe healthcare authorities confirmed on Thursday.

The new results came from 1,996 lab tests performed on the samples of those who reported the infection symptoms.

The Federation entity (FBiH) confirmed 35 new cases out of 1,438 those tested, which brings the coronavirus total in this part of the country to 133,647. To this date, 124,046 patients recovered from COVID-19 in this region and 5,400 died.

As for Republika Srpska entity (RS), its healthcare authorities confirmed 16 new cases in 446 lab tests performed over the last 24 hours. The region has so far reported the total of 64,246 cases, of which 3,741 died and 46,698 recovered from COVID-19.

Brcko district reported the total of 6,674 cases. To date, 6,220 patients have recovered and 332 died.
