At least four high schools in Belgrade were evacuated because of bomb threats on Friday morning.
Police teams search the schools in central Belgrade, the Vracar, Zvezdara and Mirijevo neighborhoods. The bomb threats came a day after all schools in Serbia’s southern neighbor Montenegro were evacuated after e-mail threats were sent to several schools across the country.
The Serbian state TV (RTS) said the first bomb threat was received just after 7:00 am, before classes were due to start.

A post on the SerbiaLive Instagram account said that students at the Medical High School in the Zvezdara neighborhood were told to leave the building at 7:30, adding that the police arrived right after that.
The Education Ministry said that an identical e-mail with a bomb threat was sent to some 20 elementary and high schools in the Serbian capital, adding that the police and Security Information Agency (BIA) were informed.
