Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic signed a memorandum of understanding between Belgrade and Brussels on Monday.

The city Information Secretariat quoted Vesic as saying that the memorandum is the first step and will be followed by a charter of twin cities. “The agreement after our visit to Brussels was not realized because of the coronavirus pandemic… Brussels has had a Belgrade street for decades and recently the Belgrade City Assembly named a street for Brussels to show our respect,” the deputy mayor said.

The agreement between Belgrade and Brussels includes cooperation in the fields of cutlure, public administration, education and other fields that the two cities deem important, Vesic said.
