Belgrade airport reports 69.1 pct fewer passengers in 2020

The number of passengers at the Belgrade ‘Nikola Tesla’ airport was 1,904 million or 69.1 percent less in 2020 than the year before, the airport’s operating VINCI Airports company the said on Friday.

The number of commercial flights dropped to over half of operated in 2019.

Within the VINCI airports’ network, the air traffic went down for 70 percent in 2020 due to pandemic-related travel restriction, the company said.
