Nikola Selakovic, Serbia's Foreign Minister and the French ambassador to Serbia Jean-Louis Falconi agreed on Monday that political dialogue and overall cooperation between their countries recorded constant progress, thanks to great extent to the personal friendship between presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Emmanuel Macron.

Foreign Minister said France was among Serbia’s most important economic partners and added he hoped that cooperation would intensify in future and that new French investment would be realised in Serbia.

Besides Belgrade’s strategic goal to become a member of the European Union, Selakovic said Serbia was interested in joining the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie as a full member.

„Serbia is fully committed to the normalisation of relations with Pristina, to a compromise, sustainable solution, acceptable to both sides and with the implementation of agreed topics during the process,“ Selakovic said.
