Marinika Tepic, a deputy leader of the opposition Freedom and Justice Party (SSP), said on Friday that Serbia's Prime Minister Ana Brnabic's brother Igor Brnabic "was forced to resign" as director of the Asseco company," adding that proved her claim about "the billions of Dinars assigned to the company from the budget under suspicious conditions since 2017 when Brnabic became the Prime Minister."

Tepic recalled that „we have been providing facts and evidence, appealed with the prosecutors to act regarding corruption… Then we address the three world stock exchanges which list Asseco and the central board of the company’s HQ in Poland.“

„We have warned about the serious damage such business does to Serbia and its people, but also to the company, which we believe does not work in the interest of a party or family, but by professional standards,“ Tepic said.

She added the resignation would not abolish Igor and Ana Brnabic from the responsibility.

„There are prosecutors in this country who will do their job. We will continue to investigate all abuses of this regime, party and family.“
