North Macedonia’s Health Minister Venko Felipce said on Monday his country expected 60 ventilators and personal protective gear from NATO in aid for fighting coronavirus epidemic.
The newest Alliance’s member state should receive the aid package on Friday, according to the Minister.
The aid, worth some 1.4 million Euro, was agreed during North Macedonia Prime Minister
Zoran Zaev’s visit to the NATO headquarters in Brussels earlier this month.
Filipce told reporters his country faced “powerful coronavirus wave which is overburdening the entire health system.” He said the number of daily tested would increase.
