Kosovo's Public Health Institue (NIJZK) said on Friday that in the last 24 hours, two patients died from COVID-19-related complications, while out of 1,119 tested people, 169 were confirmed positive on the coronavirus.

The death toll stood at 659, while 14,979 patients recovered.

A total number of infected people since the outbreak of the pandemic was 17,591 among 85,042 tested.

There were 1,953 active cases on Friday.
