Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary-General, welcomed 'the progress' in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on the normalization of relations under the European Union auspices, adding it was the only way toward a lasting solution.

He tweeted he talked to Kosovo’s Prime Minister Avdulah Hoti about the importance of the NATO-led KFOOR force in Kosovo in preserving safety and fighting the coronavirus epidemic.

Spoke with @Avdullah about the importance of @NATO_KFOR in preserving security, and fighting COVID-19 in Kosovo. I welcome progress in the EU-sponsored Belgrade-Pristina dialogue as the only way to achieve a lasting political solution.

Hoti tweeted he had essential talks with Stoltenberg and thanked him for the KFOR’s commitment to peace, safety and help during the epidemic.
