Serbian Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic said on Thursday that elementary and high school students won’t be going back to school for at least four more weeks.
Sarcevic told the pro-government TV Pink that he agrees with the views of epidemiologists who said that no thought should be given to sending children back to school for the next four weeks or even longer. The minister said that the school year will end before June 16 when it was scheduled to end.
He said that elementary school graduation exams are being prepared online with three days of training for them scheduled for April 22-24. About two percent of those children can’t do their exams online and will have to sit for those exams.
