Serbia’s Democratic Party (DS) should be more united and make internal criticism more legitimate before it considers entering alliances with other parties, MP and former party leader Dragoljub Micunovic said as he criticised the use of improper vocabulary and the behaviour within the party.

Referring to the current conflict within the DS, Micunovic said this happened before as well but that it is difficult to predict how the situation will turn out as it depends on the “behaviour of both sides.”

Micunovic said he was disappointed with the “improper vocabulary” which he described as cheap and radical but also with “accusations made against opponents who do not share the same opinion and behaviour which the party otherwise criticizes the government for.”
