The initiative 'Don't Let Belgrade Drown' and the capital's residents gathered outside the Government building and made a human chain, sending Prime Minister Ana Brnabic a message she should dismiss the Finance Minister Sinisa Mali after his doctorate was declared plagiarism, N1 reported.

The speakers said they would not give up the protests as long as Mali was Minister, adding he had many other affairs that were ignored or hashed up.

On Thursday, the Initiative sent a request to Brnabic to urgently dismiss the Finance Minister.

„They boycott our requests, our cries for fresh air, they boycott everything people suggest… Brnabic ignored our request; she didn’t use her Constitutional and legal rights to dismiss Mali. Brnabic is a chain on our hands, a string on our legs ,“ Vladimir Radojcic from the Initiative told the crowd.

He added the Initiative would continue with its activities until „free and democratic Serbia wins.“

„There won’t be a place for the (ruling) Serbian Progressive Party’s regime in a free and democratic Serbia, there won’t be a place for Sinisa Mali,“ Radojcic said.
