Marko Rosic and Nedeljko Spasojevic, the Kosovo Serbs, suspected of involvement in the assassination of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, gunned down outside his office in the northern part of the divided Mitrovica town, in January 2018, mostly populated by a Serb minority, will be indicted in the next several days, Kosovo’s Special Prosecutor Sul Hoxha told the KoSSev website on Friday.

The two are in detention, and it was extended for two months on October 22.

“This month, in 15 to 20 days, they would be indicted, “ Hoxha said.

Rosic’s attorney Mahmut Halimi said the prosecutor had not specified a reason for extended detention in which the two had been since November 23, 2018.

The Deputy leader of the Serb List, supported by Belgrade, Milan Radoicic, also suspected of the involvement in the killing, escaped the arrest and was put on an arrest warrant later.

He is believed to be in Serbia, and Belgrade authorities said he passed the polygraph test proving him innocent.
