The two Kosovo Serbs who police apprehended on Thursday under suspicion of espionage were released on Friday, the RTK TV said, citing police statement.

The Prosecutor’s Office in Kosovo’s eastern town of Gnjilane said the two tried to send to Belgrade documents about Serb members of some municipalities, the Kallxo website reported.

The Office added the police discovered the documents in the vehicle during the arrest.

Kosovo‘s media did not report on the reasons why the two were released nor whether any charges were brought against them.
