GRECO says Serbia fails to implement recommendations

Serbia has failed to implement the 17 anti-corruption recommendations made by the Council of Europe’s GRECO corruption watchdog, the FoNet news agency reported on Tuesday citing the organization’s annual report.

The report said that seven of the recommendations have been implemented partially and 10 have not been implemented at all which means that Serbia is in the group of countries (along with Bosnia-Herzegovina and Spain) which have not met any of the recommendations.  

The report said that five of the recommendations covered members of parliament, six covered judges and the remaining six covered public prosecutors.
