Serbian talk show host Ivan Ivanovic’s popular show will be airing on the NOVA S TV channel as of April, a statement said on Monday.

Ivanovic decided in 2018 to take his show off the air on the Prva TV when it changed hands last year and has been recording the show from a studio built in his living room via YouTube.

An Evening With Ivan Ivanovic will be aired every Friday at 10:00 pm along with Utisak Nedelje (Impression of the Week) and Mentalno Razgibavanje (Mental Exercises) shows on NOVA S in a completely new programming scheme featuring top quality content.

“When I decided to stop screening the show on PRVA TV, I recited the CVs of my crew and myself, told viewers what we do and said that our slogan is Freedom or Nothing and no one has called us since then. I am grateful to United Media for inviting us and for having the courage to allow us to operate freely,” Ivanovic said.

Apart from talk shows, NOVA S will have news shows with the main news at 2:00 pm and in the central news program at 7:00 pm. Mornings from 06:30 to 08:30 are reserved for Mental Exercise hosted by Darko Mitrovic and Veljko Pajovic, while Olja Beckovic’s Impression of the Week airs on Sunday at 09:00. The Insajder production company will record Little Big Stories.

The change of name to NOVA S makes the channel part of the NOVA TV brand, the biggest regional TV network which offers locally-produced and foreign series and movies, talk shows, sports and news. NOVA has had top ratings for almost 20 years in Croatia and has expanded to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro last year.

United Media CEO Aleksandra Subotic said that quality is the company’s vision above all. “That is what has guided us from the start and we firmly believe that this is the only way to hold a long-term leading position on the market. We have decided to supplement the existing TOP channel, now NOVA S, programme scheme with political content and entertainment as well as news,” she said.

NOVA S is part of United Media which includes N1 TV.
