US Ambassador Kyle Scott expressed sadness at the fact that no one has been punished for the torching of the US embassy in February 2008.

“More than a decade after the torching of the US Embassy building, the loss of a life in the fire and almost a million Dollars in damages, and no one has been held accountable of been punished. Sad,” the ambassador wrote on his Twitter account.

The Appeals Court in Belgrade has revoked the suspended sentences handed down to four people suspected of involvement in the torching of the US Embassy in Belgrade on February 21, 2008 following a protest gathering under the slogan Kosovo is Serbia.
