Serbia’s authority dismissed on Tuesday the chief of the Belgrade police department Veselin Milic and earlier in the day also the head of Gendarmes’ elite police unit, Goran Dragovic, N1 reported.

According to unofficial information, the boss of the Communal Police, Nikola Ristic, was also removed from the post last week, and replaced by Ivan Divac, from uniformed police ranks.

Dragovic will reportedly switch to diplomacy, while there are no reports on future duties for Milic and Ristic.
