The decision was made after consultations with political parties, and in line with Kosovo’s Law on Local Election, Osmani’s office said in a statement.

On Monday, Osmani dismissed Valdeta Daka as the head of the Central Election Commission and named Kreshnik Radoniqi to replace her.

The dismissal was met with adverse reactions from all political parties except for her Vetevendosje (Sel-Determination) organisation.
