The European Union’s Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) said that two shipments from Serbia were stopped at the Croatian and Slovenian borders.

It said that a shipment of frozen blackberries was turned back from the Slovenian border on October 18 after excessive levels of iprodion were detected. The RASFF said that an unspecified food shipment was turned back from the Croatian border on October 25 for similar reasons.

Several shipments of fruit and processed food from Serbia were turned back from the Croatian border after banned pesticides and cancerous substances were detected in them.
