A senior Kosovo government official said on Tuesday that any agreement with Serbia must include recognition.
Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj told a conference in Slovenia that any kind of agreement on normalizing Belgrade-Pristina relations also has to include UN membership for Kosovo.
He added that the negotiations with Serbia will be a very complex process. “We can sign an agreement which includes recognition of Kosovo. We can’t sign anything else. The solution for Kosovo is the UN Security Council in New York,” Hoxhaj said.
