Serbia has to resolve its relationship with the Albanians or see the doors to the European Union close, President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters in Sofia on Thursday at the end of the EU-Western Balkans summit.
Relations with the Albanians have to be much better or Serbia will have a lot of problems and the door to the EU will be closed, he said.
We have to see what we want our future to be, he said and added that he is hoping for a compromise but is not optimistic. Vucic said he expects the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to continue.
Asked about the summit, the Serbian president said it marks a new chapter for the future of the Western Balkans.
