In a sign of solidarity with France after a serious of extremist attacks by the Islamic fanatics, Belgrade’s landmarks will be in the colours of the French flag.
Besides, the music fountain on the Slavija Square will “play Serbian and French music,” Belgrade’s deputy Mayor Goran Vesic said.
“Friendly France is exposed to a series of terrorist attacks by the Islamic fanatics in which victims are innocent people. Those terrorist attacks are attacks on our common values. That’s why Belgrade is in solidarity with Paris, our twin city, and with the French people whom we share a long and joint history and alliance with,” he added.
