Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in a video on his Instagram profile that the Mafia will be defeated.

Speaking in the video, posted on the buducnostsrbijeav (future of Serbia AV) profile, Vucic said that he guarantees that the Mafia will be defeated regardless of personal, political or any other consequences.

“We fought for better living standards, we fought for Kosovo, for a better health care system, to be able to heal people, but in the meantime some people thought that it was more profitable being part of the Mafia, killing people, kidnapping our people, sowing fear,” Vucic said.

“In 2012, 2013 and 2014 we fought the tycoons who robbed our country and who wanted to destroy it and managed that. We renewed the country. Serbia is first in terms of growth rate in Europe today, salaries are rising, pensions are rising, people are living better,” Vucic said in the video message.
