Serbia's Culture Ministry: We provide funds for media, not Kurir publishers Izvor: N1

In response to the text "Data show that the Ministry of Culture allocated money for Kurir," the Serbian Ministry issued another statement saying that N1 persistently points out that the funds were allocated to the daily newspaper Kurir.

"Kurir is just one of the media operating within the Adria Media Group, which has numerous daily and digital editions, magazines and video productions," the Ministry said explaining their actions.

They add that N1 has focused on the Ministry's competitions since 2015, highlighting parts with incomplete information.

In a statement, the Ministry did not deny any information from the text but presented a series of derogatory assessments and insults at the expense of the work of N1 journalists.

The N1 news provides publicly available data from which one can see that Adria Media Group applied for eight media competitions for its media outlets and that the topics that received funds, such as the "Give a Hand" project, can also be found on espreso.rs and kurir.rs
