Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with European Union Delegation chief Sem Fabrizi to inform him of the White House Agreements and the latest Belgrade-Pristina talks in Brussels, the president’s press service said on Friday.
The press release quoted Vucic as saying that the EU’s role as mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is crucial and added that Serbia is prepared to take an active part in the talks. He said that Belgrade will advocate a normalization of relations with Pristina for the sake of the future of the region.
The press release said that Vucic and Fabrizi also discussed the coming annual European Commission report on Serbia’s progress on the road to the EU and the importance of speeding up reforms.
Fabrizi said that the EU will continue its active support to Serbia, considering its commitment to reforms and European values.
