Kosovo to get money for projects from IPA Funds

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti signed financial agreements with the European Union which will secure 138 million Euro for Kosovo from IPA funds.

The agreements also provide 40 million Euro in loans from international financial institutions to finance large infrastructure projects in the fields of environmental protection, energy and agriculture with the Kosovo government co-financing some of them, a press release said.  

Kosovo will get 20.5 million Euro this year in the form of a budget grant to help achieve fiscal stability and another six million next year.   The government press release said that he projects will help reactivate the economy.
