Air Serbia said that it is flying this summer’s first charter flight to the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Hurghada on Tuesday.

Bosko Rupic, an official with the Serbian national airline, said that a total of 16 charter flights to that resort had been contracted along with one charter flight to Sharm el-Sheikh. He said the company is happy to see rising demand for charter flights in a season of limited travel because of the coronavirus pandemic.

He recalled that Air Serbia also had charter flights to Antalya and Bodrum in Turkey and is focused on contracting more similar flights.
