Just a few dozen people gathered in front of the Serbian Parliament on Wednesday evening for a peaceful protest without uniformed police.
Traffic was blocked and opposition politicians Srdan Nogo and Sasa Radulovic spoke to separate groups of people.
Similar protests, attended by few people, were staged in the southern city of Nis and the town of Cacak in the southwest of the country. In Nis, the crowd did not go on a protest march, preferring to stay on the central King Milan square. A group of just two dozen people gathered in front of Cacak town hall.
