The US embassy in Belgrade said Serbia's Government should secure media access to all political views in the country, and that parties should take part in the political process, the Beta news agency reported on Tuesday.

"It's up to the Government to provide access to media for all political views', it's up to parties to participate in the political process, and it's up to people in Serbia to take part in the process without interfering with others' right to do so," the embassy wrote in Serbian on its official Twitter account.

The post includes the information that the special OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) mission would monitor the June 21 general elections in Serbia and that it planned to start working on June 5.
