The Republic Statistics Office (RZS) said on Monday that the average salary in Serbia in March stood at 59,681 Dinars or 10 percent higher nominally and 8.6 percent higher in real terms than in the same month of 2019.

The average gross salary in March stood at 82,320 Dinars or 10.1 percent higher nominally and 8.7 percent higher in real terms than in March of the previous year.  

The RZS said that the edian net salary in March stood at 44,818 Dinars which means that at least 50 percent of employed people received up to that amount.  

Gross salaries rose by 10.4 percent nominally and 8.4 percent in real terms in in the first quarter of the year, the RZS said, adding that net salaries rose by 10.3 percent nominally and 8.3 percent in real terms in the first quarter of the year.
