Kosovo’s caretake Prime Minister Albin Kurti confirmed on Monday that he is in self-isolation following contacts with a COVID-19 contact person, the KoSSev news portal reported.
Kurti said in a Facebook post that he was in contact with a person who was in contact with a COVID-19 patient. “Today is the first day that I am not in the office. An official of the European Integration Ministry was in close contact with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus,” Kurti wrote, adding that he and all the staff in his cabinet were in contact with the ministry official.
“I will remain in self-isolation in my home until the results of the ministry official’s test come back,” he said. Kurti said he would continue in his duties.
