Nova.rs journalist Ana Lalic, who was arrested, released and freed from all charges was again targeted when her car's tyre was cut, the website reported on Friday.
She reported the incident to the police.
Lalic noticed the flat tyre with a piece of metal sticking out of it when wanted to drive to work.
She said she reported the case after being threatened and attacked during the last several weeks and under her lawyer's advice.
The Nova.rs editorial board said it would hold the state and highest Serbia's officials responsible "if anything happens to any member of the website."
Lalic said she would like to believe it as a coincidence, but regarding what had been happening to her, she said she was afraid the flat tyre was the continuation of the attacks on her.
Last Monday, criminal chargesagainst Lalic were dropped, after she was arrested on April 1 and spent a night in custody.
She was charged with 'causing panic and unrest under Criminal Code Article 343,' after the Vojvodina Clinical Centre sued her following an article in early April in which her unnamed sources said the medical staff at the Centre did not have enough protective gear.
Later on Friday, the Independent Society of Vojvodina’s Journalists (NDNV) demanded that the police and prosecutors to urgently investigate the case of damaging Lalic’s car tyre, and estimate her safety.
NDNV reminds the authorities that a severe campaign against her has recently been conducted in tabloids and on social networks because of her story about the situation in the Vojvodina Clinical Center.
