Another COVID-19 patient died in North Macedonia, bringing the total number of deaths caused by the novel coronavirus in that country to 18, health minister Venko Filipce confirmed on Sunday.
The minister wrote on his Facebook page that a 63-old-man died at Skopje’s Clinic for Infectious Diseases only a few hours after he was hospitalised, adding that his health condition was critical already.
According to Felipce, 74 patients are hospitalised at the clinic, 15 of which are critically ill, 11 are connected to respirators and other patients are stable
Three patients who tested negative for the novel coronavirus will leave this hospital, which brings the total number of recovered patients in North Macedonia to 23, said Filipce.
72 new coronavirus cases were recorded in the country over the past 24 hours, 555 in total.
