A Reuters crew was allowed into the Vojvodina Clinical Center following a report on the Nova.rs portal which said the situation there was bad.

The report met with denials from the clinical center management which reported journalist Ana Lalic to the police, getting her arrested and detained overnight. Lalic said in the report that she was told by doctors and medical staff at the Vojvodina Clinical Center that they did not have enough protective equipment even though that is one of the hospitals designated for the treatment of serious coronavirus cases.

The Reuters crew was allowed to film parts of the Clincal Center where COVID-19 patients are being treated. No other media crew or individual journalists have been allowed into the hospital.
