A leader of Serbia's leading opposition group Alliance for Serbia (SzS) and former Mayor of Belgrade Dragan Djilas called on the Government to grant the older people an hour walk daily," the FoNet news agency reported on Wednesday.

They suggest that the people over 65 years of age who are under 24-hour movement ban be allowed to go out between 6 and 7 pm, to ease their physical and mental problems.

"At that time, the curfew is in place, and the older people would not mingle with other population. They should be obliged to wear masks and strictly honour the measure of social distance (up to two meters)," he said.

Djilas added that those people who contacted SzS psychological counselling centre mostly complained "about the impossibility to walk at least once a day, what affects their mental state the most."
