The Serbian government issued decrees banning all inter-city bus and rail transport as well as all waterway passenger traffic, postponing tax payments and setting deadlines for court proceedings during the state of emergency called to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
A press release said that all passenger transport companies will be allowed to complete the journeys they began to get their passengers to their destinations but no new departures would be allowed.
The government also allowed the postponement of tax payments saying the aim was to raise taxpayers’ liquidity. The postponement covers personal, company, farmer and entrepreneur taxes.
A third decree said that there are no time limits to file suit and appeals or launch proceedings during the state of emergency as of March 15.
