President Aleksandar Vucic told the Serbian state TV (RTS) on Friday that said that the debate at the Munich Security Conference attended by himself and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was “fierce”.
The round table on the Western Balkans was the first time that Vucic and Kurti met.
“I fought for Serbia’s interests. People from across the world were there and it was up to me to tell the truth in response to demeaning claims and I think I protected Serbia and the Serb people in the best way,” Vucic said, adding that it was important for him to see the relationships among the Albanians, between Pristina and Tirana and within Pristina. “I think I absolutely know them better now, even Kurti who was an unknown to me,” the Serbian President said.
