Democratic Party (DS) MPs Balsa Bozovic and Aleksandra Jerkov demanded that their party urgently responds to tweets posted by the leader of the opposition movement Dveri, Bosko Obradovic, in which he sharply criticized DS Political Council President Dragoljub Micunovic and questioned whether the DS should be part of the Alliance for Serbia.
“This is the final straw. The Democratic Party must request the urgent exclusion of Bosko Obradovic from the Alliance for Serbia or the DS should leave it. We should have taken care of this long ago. This is the end of it now,” Bozovic posted on Twitter.
The statement came after Obradovic criticised former DS leader Micunovic on the same social media platform.
“Is this possible: from a communist, criticising priests and Goli Otok (a political prison in former Yugoslavia), a fake dissident and an agreement with (Slobodan) Milosevic, to the continuous opportunism of the fake patriarch of democracy and a deal with (Aleksandar) Vucic. It would be best if he would finally run in the election by himself so we see how much support he has,” Obradovic tweeted about Micunovic along with a picture of him.
Micunovic said earlier on Sunday that an election boycott by the opposition would not make sense unless at least 50 percent of voters do not show up at the polls.
