Serbian National Bank Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic told the BBC on Friday that she was not concerned by the fact the prime minister’s brother was CEO of a company that made Dina payment cards for Serbian banks.
The Dina cards are a project launched by the governor as a Serbian payment card. The cards are offered to all bank clients. The media have revealed that Prime Minister Ana Brnabic’s brother is CEO of Aseko, one of the companies making the cards.
“Whoever is involved in this business knows that it’s not just Aseko, where her brother is, that makes cards for 26 banks in Serbia but that there are at least eight other manufacturers,” Tabakovic told the BBC Serbian service.
