Serbian FM invited to conference on media freedom in the Hague

Dutch Ambassador Gilles Beschoor Plug invited Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic to a ministerial conference on freedom of the media in April, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Friday.

The Netherlands and UNESCO are hosting the World Press Freedom Conference in the Hague on April 22, 23, and 24 at the World Forum. 

The Ambassador handed Minister Dacic an invitation to the conference from Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok, the press release said adding that they also discussed bilateral cooperation and regional issues.  

The ambassador said that the Netherlands Embassy will take over as NATO contact point for Serbia from the Embassy of Norway.
