In commemoration of the death of Neda Arneric, one of the most famous actresses in former Yugoslavia and Serbia, held at the Yugoslav Cinemateque, her friends and colleagues remembered her as "a hardworking, professional, a real lady," N1 reported on Thursday.
They said that during the forthcoming international film festival, FEST, traditionally held in Belgrade, the retrospective of Arneric's work would be shown.
"It's difficult to imagine we are not going to play together again. And tonight we were supposed to be playing together," Elizabeta Djorevska, Arneric's college and friend, said.
Fedja Stojanovic, an actor, said that "Neda had such a nice, polite behaviour, far away from the environment we live in."
Arneric died on January 10 at the age of 66. The cremation is scheduled for Saturday at 4:30 pm at Belgarde's New Cemetry.
She started acting at the age of 13 and played in over 110 films, and TV series at home and abroad, and in 40 theatre play.
