Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told European Union ambassadors that her cabinet will focus on reforms in the field of rule of law.
“Reforms in the field of rule of law will continue to be in the focus of the government in the coming period,” a press release quoted her as saying at a meeting with EU ambassadors and EU Delegation chief Sem Fabrizi.
Brnabic said that her government is constantly implementing reforms important to the well being of the population and a true transformation of society in the EU accession process and added that the reforms which have been implemented in the state administration have yielded good results. She said that Serbian remains committed to reforms and EU membership as its key foreign policy goal.
The press release said that the ambassadors and Fabrizi agreed that the focus should be on Chapter 23 and 24 in Serbia’s pre-accession negotiations with the EU.
