Serbia and Nokia continue cooperation, Vucic says Izvor: Predsedništvo Srbije

Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia’s President, said on Monday his country planned to continue the collaboration with Nokia company, especially in the areas of landline telephony and the fibre optic systems, the FoNet news agency reported.

Vucic met with Nokia Corporation’s representatives led by Mikko Lavanti, the head of Nokia Central Asia and Central Europe, in Belgrade, and told them that it was important for Serbia to be able to use experience that company had in the IT sector.

Nokia Corporation is Finnish multinational telecommunication, information technology, and consumer electronics company, founded in 1865.

The two sides agreed that several decades of the cooperation between Nokia and Serbia’s state-owned Telekom in mobile and landline networks was very good and said it could improve in the future.
