The Party of Freedom and Justice presented its second anti-corruption law proposal on Saturday - a law on the origin of property which, together with their earlier proposal for a law on a special prosecutor for officials, represents the basis of the party’s programme.
Party leader Dragan Djilas urged members not to attack other opposition parties that have still not decided whether to boycott the elections, saying that he hopes all opposition parties will eventually make a joint decision to not take part.
He also had a message for President Aleksandar Vucic, saying that the day will come when Vucic will not be able to “insult people, arrest them and destroy their lives” and adding that the first step is “freeing the imprisoned country.”
Djilas devoted a big part of his speech to a letter he wrote to Manfred Weber, the leader of the European People's Party. He said that that European politicians, as well as China and Russia, are accomplices in the current situation regarding Serbia’s Government because of their interests.
A law on the origin of property was also announced by Serbia’s Government several times in the past.
