The two eight graders from Serbia’s southern town of Vranje were runners up in the world robotics competition among 50 teams from around the globe, held in Guangzhou, China, from November 29 to December 1, N1 reported on Tuesday.

The pupils of the ‘Svetozar Markovic’ primary school, Leonora Ristic and Andjela Ristic, created an excellent combination of the mechanic robot with its managing capabilities which put them high on MakeX robotic world competitions called City Guardian.

The organisers wanted to see solutions which would enable a robot to influence a city planning, but also the cooperation of the opponent teams which on the success of the task depended.
