US Secretary of State Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer is scheduled to continue his visit to the region next week with a visit to Belgrade, where he will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and other officials.

According to the US Embassy in Belgrade, Palmer is expecting a meeting with Vucic and other officials, as well as ambassadors from neighbouring countries and representatives of various political parties to discuss the importance of returning to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, as well as other issues of regional importance.

In talks with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, on Friday, Palmer focused his attention on the issue of reaching a comprehensive agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Thaci's cabinet said.
